I was given the opportunity to put together a small Flash application for outdoor light specialists, Engineering With Light. The app is simple but unique in highlighting some of the different arrangements of outdoor lights they sell.
Creative agency Shotgun Front led the project and also fully developed the Engineering With Light brand and online store. They provided the design and asked me to put together an app where users could change the combination of switches to experiment with different arrangements of outdoor lighting. As the user interacts with the lights they can see the differences between merging down, up and path lighting.
When the user interacts with one of the switches the application simply detects the combination of all three switches. With this combination a simple switch statement is used to determine which of the eight final outcomes to display on the stage. When the correct outcome is determined it is added to the stage and fades in using TweenLite.
